If there are to be 30,000 new Chinese employees in Madang with the planned PMIZ, an assuming they will be afforded the same legal waiver on the visa requirement of knowing and/or learning English, we propose a brief course in conversational Chinese for the indigenous residents. Particularly those who now live in the Vidar area, and/or those who may have to deal with the new wave of Chinese shops and vendors set up to attend them. Assuming that no real dialogue is to take place, and that any and all antipathy is not intended personally, but rather politically, we shall begin with a short list of useful phrases [also good to recognize when they're hurled in one's direction]:
